MUST:
Experienced Business Development Specialist
3+ years of experience
Proficiency in tracking potential opportunities and forecasting accurately on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Proven proficiency in tracking/monitoring data and metrics and experience with desktop publishing and editing.
Ability to quickly learn and use a variety of research tools and databases efficiently and simultaneously.
Ability to work independently, multitask and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas.
Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced work environment with strict deadlines.
Strong communication skills; being comfortable presenting to senior executives.
Experience with Federal contract analysis, monitoring, and tracking experience
Experience Deltek s GovWin and other Government database searches engines and analysis highly desired
Strong computer skills including advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, Word, and SharePoint, as well as Adobe, etc.
Bachelors Degree required
DUTIES:
Identify potential Government contracts through platforms like SAM.gov, GovWin, and other procurement websites.
Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities in targeted Government sectors.
Develop and implement strategies for market expansion, targeting new opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Government officials, technical experts and program managers, procurement officers, and agency decision-makers.
Establish and cultivate partnerships with third-party vendors, consulting firms, and system integrators to enhance market reach.
Support the creation of proposals, bids, and responses to government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)/Sources Sought (SS) are both compelling and compliant.
Ensure adherence to Federal contracting requirements and compliance standards for all proposal submissions to the Government.
Stay informed on changes in government compliance requirements that impact business operations.
Collaborate with partners to develop tailored solutions for government clients, enhancing the competitiveness of proposals.
Monitor federal procurement trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide senior management with regular updates on opportunity pipelines, market expansion progress, and partnership outcomes.
Researching, analyzing, and digitizing data, as well as verifying, classifying, recording, and reconciling data and metrics.
Performing review, editing, and desktop publishing.
