Coke Florida is searching for a Sales Merchandising Capability Trainer to work out of our Hollywood, Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, Ft Myers, Cocoa or Ft Pierce locations.
As a Sales Merchandising Capability Trainer, you will be accountable for the training and development of our Sales Merchandisers and Sales Merch Supervisor roles within an assigned Orbit. This will include initial training, field certification, evaluation, and ongoing training for existing associates. Your focus will be on building a solid foundation, by providing detailed training in both classroom and practical instruction in a trade setting. Your goal will be to ensure that Sales Merchandisers and Sales Merchandising Supervisors understand the fundamentals of their role, and that they are able to perform their duties to Coke Florida standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create the onboarding and training of our Sales Merchandisers and Sales Merchandising Supervisors, this will include classroom training, one v one training and field based training
- Responsible for continued development of Sales Merchandiser and Sales Merchandising Supervisors
- Help assist with retention and growth of employees within sales organizations
- Assist with creation and monitoring of sales metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
For This Role, you will need:
- Must have excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Must have proven leadership and coaching skills.
- Must enjoy working with/developing newly hired/newly promoted employees.
- Must be able to collaborate across internal functions keeping tools, process and position acumen relevant to ensure continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of Coke Florida's Merchandising Tools and Processes.
- Must be a subject matter expert able to understand the field role and customer collaboration process.
- Must be able to exhibit and teach how to build strong Customer relationships
- The ability to drive a personal vehicle across the Coke Florida Territory
- Must have the ability to travel within assigned geography and outside of that geography as needed, to spend time in trade with team. Position will be 50-75% travel within, but not limited to, the assigned Orbit.
- Ability to effectively present, engage, and lead associates through both classroom and trade training.
- Must have a basic understanding of adult learning theory and facilitation techniques.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Must also have working knowledge of Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint.
- Must be able to learn multiple technology platforms for sales reporting and order writing functionality.
- Must be able to demonstrate decision making in the market to ensure the teams can drive continued efficiencies.
- Must be able to work within a fast paced environment. Must be able to assess and identify additional training needs for the roles you are accountable for based on field observation & collaboration with local leaders and associates.
- Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last 3 years
