A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES CONSULTANT Sales Consultants maintain existing customer base while cultivating new business. Produce weekly sales reports. Meet or exceed sales metrics Attend sales meetings. Have working knowledge of products, be able to discuss value with and make menu suggestions to customers. Build an effective pipeline while keeping detailed records of sales activity. SALES CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL DUTIESMaintain existing customers while cultivating new businessCollect money from customersResponsible for assisting customers with order entriesProduce weekly sales reportsMeets sales marginsUse sales expertise to maximize and close salesKeep detailed records of sales activityProvide menu suggestionsMust be able to attend mandatory sales meetings SALES CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONSPreferably a four-year degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related fieldExperience in marketing, sales, or hospitality industryMust have excellent communication skills, both written and oralSelf-motivated and proven resultsAbility to develop and deliver presentationsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to travel and have a clean driving recordProficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point & OutlookEffective time management skills and ability to work independentlyWORK SCHEDULE Requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work. Our Sales Consultants have a base salary plus the potential for a monthly bonus, car allowance where applicable, and have a phone, laptop or tablet provided.
