POSITION TYPE: Hourly position with a 10% potential bonus based on performance.
SUMMARY:
The Sales Coordinator supports and assists the Sales and Catering department in managing and maintaining corporate, group, and catering business. This position is designed to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and support to external clients and internal partners. The Sales Coordinator serves as a liaison between the Sales and Catering team members, the Event Management team, and other departments at the hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as one of the first points of contact for incoming sales calls, responding promptly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers. Deliver clear and concise communication that reflects Concord Hospitality's standards across all channels.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning skills while maintaining a keen focus on detail.
- Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities diligently, including managing room blocks, generating reports, notifying clients of key dates (cut-off or payment schedule deadlines), and handling group resumes, event orders, BEOs, billing details, and other essential administrative aspects of bookings and events.
- Assist with various stages of event management, including pre-event, main event, and post-event tasks: track, detail, and communicate with internal partners and external clients regarding the particulars of each assigned event and group.
- Acquire knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage offerings, pricing, presentation, and function spaces, as well as audio-visual resources that contribute to successful events.
- Learn and utilize digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process) while understanding the hotel's sales strategies (e.g., rates, fees, budgeted goals). Implement these tools to accomplish individual and team goals efficiently.
- Prepare for, participate in, and report on all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, and training sessions required for this role.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and embody an entrepreneurial spirit that encourages making the best decisions for the hotel and achieving overall team goals.

- Consistently meet sales activity goals and individual revenue targets, including proactive and reactive calls, tours, and appointments as outlined by Concord and your supervisor.
