Sales Development Rep - Aftermarket - Ovivo

The role is based in our Mokena, IL office and will require up to 35% travel.

What is the role?

• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
• Present new products and services to improve existing relationships
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport, arrange meetings, and establish a business relationship
• Improve sales through various methods
• Work with management to identify potential
• Collaborate with company marketing initiatives
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Work with Aftermarket team to develop quotes and proposals for clients
• Recognize opportunities for distribution channels, services, and campaigns that will result in sales
• Identify goals for business growth along with management
• Work with assigned teams to build long-term relationships with key customers.
• Travel to customer, training sites, or trade shows is an integral part of this position

Does this sound like you?

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, marketing or related field
• Knowledge of the Water Treatment, or chemicals industry preferred
• 2+ years' experience with sales opportunities
• Proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding departmental goals
• Experience in negotiating
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, and handle uncertainty.
• Ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of the industry and current events
• Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Ability to learn to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry related documents and drawings
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a technical
• Must have demonstrated interpersonal, customer relations skills
