About the Job
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
In this position, your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads for our inside and outside sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and connect with prospects to generate new business opportunities
- Contact and qualify potential customers via various communication channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, video conferencing etc.)
- Foster leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments and visits for the outside and/or inside sales teams
- Follow-up with leads as determined by the team leader
- Track all activity leading up to meeting
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for reaching targets
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and track sales activities
- Report on sales activities and results to team lead
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- To perform the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak clearly and listen carefully
- The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time and type on keyboard.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful candidates will have a college degree, or previous experience in Sales Development roles
- Computer literacy skills with Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions and directions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Articulate and fluent in the English language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of the rules of composition and grammar
