Job Summary:
The Sales Director is the face of the Club and is responsible for all sales activity within the club. They nurture relationships with existing Members and invite their friends and colleagues to join. In addition, the Director attends activities with Members and their guests to demonstrate pride in belonging.
They are also responsible for sourcing and enrolling new Members as well as selling all aspects of events held within the Club, including corporate events, social functions, weddings, and other market segments.The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Job Summary:

Day-to-Day:
Membership Sales Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruiting and enrolling new Members into the Club.
- Create and execute quarterly game plans and the definitive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals.
- Maintain prospect database by following the CRM system functionality standards to stay organized, generate reports, etc.
- Represent the Club in city and community activities and organizations to provide awareness of the Club and to develop sources for prospective Club Members.
- Collaborate with the VP of the Membership and Marketing Department to develop programs and social media campaigns to create brand awareness and recognition and generate quality leads through strategy and pricing.
- Generates and executes a definitive sales strategy to meet and exceed departmental revenue goals consistently.
- Responsible for selling all event functions, including meeting with the clients to determine needs, and exceeding their expectations through detailed communication.
- Networking inside and outside the Club to obtain "leads" and build relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to establish profitable and competitive event menus that meet clients' needs.
- Partners with the Membership Department to promote additional private events, business opportunities, and prospective members.
- Achieves and maintains mandated company sales standards.
- Outbound sales experience with a proven track record of sales performance (preferably 2 - 3 years of experience).
- Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of prospecting programs and revenue generation.
- High energy and outgoing personality.
- Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.
- Catering/Events sales experience in applicable markets preferred.
- Creativity, attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and Banquet Event Order software. Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employees, and other community leaders.
- Applicants must possess a passion for providing high-quality Member service and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
