Job Description
The Sales Director integrates the roles of sales manager and strategic market
planning manager to achieve organic growth for Eurofins Built Environment Testing
laboratories consistent with Eurofins Environment Testing America's
overall sales and marketing objectives. The Sales Director position has two
main functions, which are managing and mentoring assigned Account
Executives (AEs) to individual/team performance expectations of established
Sales Delta in LIMS portfolio and partnering with operations and marketing to
drive strategic plans to meet the overall Eurofins Environment Built Environment
business strategy.
- Recruit, manage, evaluate, train, mentor and support assigned AEs.
- Work with Sales Teams, Laboratory Directors (LDs), Project Managers (PMs), Customer ServiceManagers (CSMs) and General Mangers (GMs) to organically grow LIMS portfolios.
- Field sales management, including on-site client visits with AEs, which will include considerabletravel.
- Develop and execute laboratory specific marketing & sales plans supportive of Eurofins Built Environment Testing Eastorganic growth objectives.
- Foster Eurofins Built Environment Testing's national account program developmentconsistent with Eurofins Environment Testing America companywide organic growth objectives.
- Work closely with Eurofins Environment Testing USA'sMarketing center to implementEurofins Environment Testing USA'smarketing program, including proposing items forinclusion in marketing activity plans.
- Drive revenue targets in specialty segments.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of
the knowledge, skill or ability required. (List three to five key quantifiable
skills or position requirements that the candidate must have to be considered
for this position.)
- BS/BA required (Preferably in Science or related field), MBA desirable
- Minimum 10 years progressively successful supervisory preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales and sales management experience - preferably
- in the environmental laboratory business.
- Lab experience and/or exposure to the environmental industry.
- Extensive knowledge of general business terms and concepts.
- Prior management experience.
