Overview: The Sales Director plays a crucial role in driving sales and meeting the growing needs of the senior population and their families at Commonwealth Senior Living. This position focuses on managing the sales process of the community. The Sales Director takes charge of maintaining relationships with community organizations, hospitals, and other referral sources to generate admissions. They work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure the community maintains a stellar reputation and aligns with the company's core values. The Sales Director serves as a Culture Ambassador, personally modeling the company's core values and promoting their adherence among team members.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve community census goals and annual budget projections.
- Generate leads, schedule tours, advance the sales process, and meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
- Act as a liaison between the community and external organizations.
- Foster positive relationships with local community agencies to enhance the community's image and encourage referrals.
- Participate in industry trade shows.
- Develop strategies to maximize admissions, including regular contact with potential referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies, and healthcare agencies.
- Schedule and conduct screenings of potential residents to assess their level of care, required services, equipment needs, and insurance coverage.
- Coordinate admissions and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Stay updated on current regulations governing assisted living facilities.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports.
- Attend and actively participate in admissions/operations meetings.
- Identify customer service issues and report them to the Executive Director for quality improvement.
- Continuously enhance knowledge through approved education programs.
- Adhere to company and community policies, procedures, safety protocols, and infection control measures.
- Contribute to maintaining an exceptional public image for the community.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field or at least two years of sales experience.
- Familiarity with the long-term care industry's operations.
- Genuine interest in senior care and improving their lives.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
- Demonstrated achievement of community census goals and annual budget projections.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
