Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and fostering customer relationships, promoting the sale of our cutting-edge products, and providing technical sales support. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Promote the sale of our products and provide technical sales support by assessing equipment needs with Applications Engineers.
- Proactive Customer Engagement: Regularly visit customer facilities to review and address outstanding engineering and service-related issues. Conduct strategic reviews of sales opportunities and resolve complex engineering problems.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit Territory Planning and MIS reports, as well as Expense reports.
- Factory Visits: Conduct semiannual visits to OEM factories both stateside and internationally.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve yearly sales goals. Collaborate with engineering staff for product demonstrations.
Minimal Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of technical sales experience in industrial equipment, specifically in B2B sales/business development of relevant products, including commercial grade pumps.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or a relevant technical background.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.
- Skills: Proven experience working within structured and stable collaborative national or international organizations, or the ability to thrive in such environments.
