Sales Engineer - Penn Technical Staffing

A busy manufacturer of industrial material handling equipment located in Blackwood, NJ has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Engineer to join their team.  Experience with powder/material handling and/or vacuum conveying systems is desired. This is primarily an inside sales position with <20% travel. The writing of proposals is a major function of this position, so exemplary writing skills are required. Job duties: Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all aspects of powder handling systems; Provide written proposals, presentations, and RFP responses in support of selling equipment and solutions; Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company can offer; Occasionally travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and engineering offices to meet with select accounts when required. Job requirements: 3-5+ years of mechanical and/or process engineering or sales account management experience in the powder handling equipment or pneumatic conveying systems fields; Strong relationship management skills and consultative problem-solving mindset.
