JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and providing technical expertise for our customers. This role involves understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and support of industrial heat process equipment & systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trusted Advisor: Gain the trust of our customers that you are the right person to guide them through any combustion-related challenges they may face.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice on industrial heat process equipment
- Sales Growth / Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Engagement: Identify and engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications and pricing.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of sold equipment, ensuring it meets customer requirements and is installed correctly.
- After-Sales Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to inform sales strategies.
- CRM Pipeline Management: Maintain updated opportunity pipeline in BDC's CRM. Keep opportunities updated through the entire sales process.
Qualifications:
Education: AS/BS in engineering / technical field or significant experience in the industrial combustion industry.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an industrial field preferred.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of thermal systems, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Travel: Travel required including overnight
