JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services, including their technical specifications, features, and applications.
- Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and objectives. Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to address customer needs effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the company's offerings. Articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design custom solutions that align with customer requirements and objectives. Develop proposals, technical documentation, and other materials to support the sales process.
- Serve as a technical resource for customers throughout the sales cycle and beyond. Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance on product implementation and integration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to help drive product innovation and enhance competitiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Assist in qualifying leads, preparing quotes, and negotiating contracts as needed.
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in technical sales, engineering, or related roles. Experience in B2B sales or technology sales is highly desirable.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in understanding complex technical concepts. Ability to translate technical specifications into business value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence audiences at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential.
