Kickr Design is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer that is interested in joining a growing company and a start-up environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for developing new product ideas and can demonstrate an ability to quickly and creatively solve problems. The position also requires an individual that works well in tight-knit teams, interacts with clients with professionalism, and is confident in his/her own sales skills.
We are looking for a candidate with a very strong engineering background and a variety of engineering experience. The ideal candidate will have worked in multiple industries as an engineer and have a strong breadth of knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems as well as excellent communication skills and a passion to help other people in their journey!
As a Sales Engineer, you will own the crucial first step to guide our clients' product development journey and drive our company's growth by winning new deals for our talented, diverse engineering team. You will work with prospects ranging from individuals and startups to large brands and businesses, each with their own completely unique product and challenge. You will work with them to decide the direction for their project and help them develop a successful project pathway.

Key Tasks:
You will attend project consultations with a wide range of unique individuals and/or companies over the phone (multiple per day)
Speak directly with clients and provide helpful engineering insights in conversation
Draft & send personalized proposals/estimates for new projects
Attend project "Kick-Off" meetings & hand off project to engineering team
Requirements
Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering (any discipline)
Well-rounded engineering/prototyping knowledge
Consumer level/client facing experience
Excellent interpersonal skills are a MUST!
Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST!
