Job DescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scaling our highly successful sales training programs that integrate influence-based techniques from experts such as Chase Hughes and Chris Voss. You have 7+ years of experience in financial services sales training, deep knowledge of retirement planning products, and a passion for growing high-performing teams. Sales training is critical to our growth plan, and we are equipped to invest time, talent, and technology to continue to develop our advisors. How you’ll spend your days:
- Scaling and executing our sales training programs using behavioral science, techniques and proprietary processes
- Developing and delivering sales programs that equip advisors with the skills to build rapport, earn trust, and close deals
- Overseeing new advisor onboarding, ensuring seamless integration into our sales process and compliance standards
- Providing hands-on coaching and mentoring to sales team members at all levels
- Collaborating with leadership to refine sales processes, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness
- Monitoring KPIs, refining training strategies based on performance data and feedback
- Keeping the company at the forefront of the market – industry trends, best practices, and innovations in retirement planning
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or education with at least 7 years of financial services or wealth management experience - 5 recent years in a sales training role
- Expertise in influence-based sales techniques developed by behavioral science experts, including Chase Hughes, and experience training and developing sales teams in these methodologies
- Proven success in developing and leading training programs that improve sales performance
- Demonstrated knowledge of retirement planning products, including annuities, equities, and life insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to training and development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Willingness to reside in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area and travel occasionally within the US
