Olive Recruiting is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to support our client near Atlanta, GA. The client's focus is construction and rigging. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing our client's relationships with businesses and industrial establishments, offering tailored solutions, resources, and expertise. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships to optimize sales. Working closely with internal partners, the position involves estimating and managing projects to ensure company deliverables are successfully met.

Full-time, direct hire with client
Compensation: $60-70k base annual salary, plus extremely strong commission structure, comprehensive benefits, monthly car/fuel allowance

Responsibilities:
- Actively maintain customer information, ensuring accuracy and consistency in contact and management of leads and prospect lists
- Coordinate job walks and assist in preparing customer bids and estimates to accurately price projects
- Collaborate closely with the estimating department to communicate with customers, ensuring a clear understanding of project specifications, scope, and schedules
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers through excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective presentations, negotiations, persuasion, and attentive listening, to establish a dependable customer base with recurring business
- Develop highly effective relationships with customers, business partners, operations management, and support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Manage projects efficiently by organizing all project-related information, ensuring that work orders are accurate, complete, and contain all necessary details for project execution
- Consistently enhance knowledge of industry and market trends to stay informed and competitive within the field
- Monitor competition by gathering and analyzing current marketplace information on pricing, new and existing products, merchandising techniques, and other relevant industry developments
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and tracking competitive developments to improve the company's offerings
- Address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing detailed reports, and making informed recommendations to management
- Continuously develop professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Assist with collections and accounts receivable as needed to ensure timely payments and maintain strong financial health
- Actively participate in sales meetings, contributing insights and feedback based on customer interactions and industry knowledge
- Adhere to company structure and internal processes, and effectively utilize support teams such as Estimating, Project Management, and Operations departments when necessary
- Maintain historical records by accurately recording data on area and customer sales, providing valuable insights for future business planning
- Engage in local travel as required for client prospecting and site meetings, ensuring a strong presence and understanding of customer needs and project requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Project or Construction Management or related field is preferred
- Strong skills in data analysis and project organization
- At least five (5) years of proven sales experience or relevant experience, preferably in construction, transportation/distribution, project management, crating/packing, or rigging industries
- Proficiency utilizing CRM software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Gantt charts is required
