Position: Sales Executive - Business Development and Mentorship

The Role:
As a Sales Executive, you will initially focus on building and managing your own client base through cold calling small and medium-sized businesses. After mastering our sales process, you'll train and mentor new hires while continuing to grow your own portfolio.
What You'll Do:
- Build Your Business: Develop and nurture a client portfolio by engaging with key decision-makers.
- Inspire and Train: Lead training sessions in the field to motivate and empower new team members.
- Mentor and Coach: Provide tailored coaching and support to new sales representatives.
- Connect and Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and team members.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team. This role involves working within your designated territory, engaging with small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors. You'll be trained to meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to offer them top-notch supplemental insurance products.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Responding to client emails and phone inquiries.
- Setting follow-up appointments with potential and current clients to assess their needs.
- Participating in scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or manager.
- Reaching out to new businesses, referrals, and existing clients for re-engagement.
- Building and maintaining your own client portfolio.
- Setting your own working hours and submitting them weekly to your sales manager.
- Daily submission of sales metrics and activity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000 - $128,000 per year
Additional Position Qualifications:
- Already licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing and able to obtain Health & Life producer license - licensing reimbursement offered)
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post-high school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion will be considered, as will candidates with less than 4 years of professional work experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.
