Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving company sales and building a robust sales pipeline as a sole contributor. As the company grows, this role will evolve to include the development and leadership of a sales organization, making it a tremendous opportunity to significantly impact the growth trajectory of an already thriving company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling software services, with a focus on ERP systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients in need of ERP implementation, integration, and IT consulting services.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, taking full ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Organization Building: As the company grows, recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.
• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
• Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create and present compelling proposals and solutions to prospective clients.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
• Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate new business leads.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on software services and/or IT consulting. Experience in ERP sales (NetSuite, Sage, SAP) is highly desirable.
• ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration within business processes.
• Consultative Selling: Proven track record of consultative sales, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business benefits for clients.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Networking: Strong networking abilities and experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
• Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to work independently and drive results in a startup environment, with a passion for building and scaling a sales organization.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
