In this position...
The Field Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in leading the internal Ford Pro Field staff relationship with both Commercial and Government teams with the goal of growing the Ford Pro Business. This position works closely with the Field Operations Manager and the Regional Sales Managers to support the growth of field sales and marketing initiatives. The specialist ensures smooth execution of field initiatives, marketing strategies, and reporting; they will facilitate the implementation and communication of sales strategies across the Ford Pro Sales Team. This role is pivotal in coordinating operations between teams and developing solution that enhance and maximize our field team’s sales performance. The Field Operating Specialist also collaborates with the Marketing Team to organize and support trade shows, include the yearly Fleet Preview Show.
What you'll do...
+ Field Sales Growth: Support the growth of Ford Pro solutions in the field, targeting fleet/government teams to implement improved systems and strategies
+ Achieve Key Results: Drive the achievement of field objectives and key results in Internal Combustion Engine Sales and Battery Electric Vehicle Sales, as well as in Charging, Telematics, Data Services, Fleet Management and Service Solutions.
+ Operational and Field Support: Provide critical operation support to Ford Pro Commercial/Government Regional Managers and field sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and information to succeed in driving sales.
+ Reporting: Develop, analyze and report key performance data, to track progress, identify trends and recommend actionable strategies to optimize performance
+ Communication: Ensure clear, consistent communication across all levels of the field sales team, from leadership to individual team members, to facilitate smooth operations and ensure alignment with Ford Pro’s strategic objectives. Act as a conduit for information, ensuring that the field team stays informed about key updates, initiatives and changes.
+ Marketing Event Coordination and Support: Assist in organizing and executing trade shows, regional events and the yearly Fleet Preview Show to showcase Ford Pro products and solutions to key stakeholders/customers. This will consume about 30-40% of the Field Operation Specialist time.
+ Product and System Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of current and future Ford Pro vehicle offerings and improvements in Ford Pro solutions to assist in the sales process effectively.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
+ 2+ year’s progressive knowledge of dealership operations.
+ 2+ years of customer service and field sales operations experience.

+ Customer Experience Handling skillset.
+ Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
+ Excellent customer relationship/interpersonal skills required to support direct customer contact.
+ Sales experience preferred as well as data driven decision making.
+ Should have strong Product/Company/industry knowledge as well as Ford systems knowledge.
+ Well-rounded business acumen of Fleet and Commercial/Government business.
