About the Job
Acting as a trusted partner to all business areas of Hermès Americas, the Hermès of Paris (HOP) IT Team leads comprehensive technology delivery, innovation and support across the entire systems landscape in the region.
The Opportunity:
As the Sales Force Commerce Cloud (SFCC, formerly Demandware) Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, administering and supporting company sales and upcycling operations, including employee sales, exceptional private sale campaigns, and other B2C operations across digital and physical distribution channels. The main focus of this role would be the implementation, customization, and maintenance of the SFCC platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, Group IT in Paris, external consultants, and the distribution center team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and effective solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce principles, technical expertise in SFCC, and strong project management and communication skills.

About the Role:
- Act as subject matter expert for all SFCC implementations and own all setup of the system. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams regarding SFCC capabilities and functionalities.
- Customize and guide configuration of SFCC platform features, Campaigns, product catalogs, promotions, and quotas.
- Collaborate with the Group IT team in Paris, developers, and consultants to integrate third-party applications and systems with SFCC.
- Perform quality assurance and testing of SFCC implementations to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
- Lead and manage SFCC projects, including scoping, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Conduct thorough business analysis to understand client needs, document requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for SFCC implementations.
- Develop documentation for all SFCC technical setup and processes and maintain as needed.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams regarding SFCC capabilities and functionalities.
- Act as a Business Relationship Manager to assist business partners in facilitating instances of in-person sale events, coordinating activities with the Infrastructure, IT Operations, and other teams within the department.

About You:
- Minimum five years of experience managing Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform (formerly known as Demandware).
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems and how they interact in an Enterprise architecture landscape.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices including ERP, WMS and OMS integrations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in conducting business analysis, documenting requirements, and translating them into technical specifications.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage business relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Salesforce Application Architect/B2C Solution Architect would be a plus.
- Experience managing internal employee sale operations a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
The range for this position is $78,899.00 - $131,499.00 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
