James Imaging has been an award-winning provider of office equipment, software technologies, and services in southeast Wisconsin for over 40 years. We have been supporting our clients with tier one products and outstanding service to ensure they have the tools to communicate and share their important documents quickly and efficiently.
The Sales Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing our sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth. This position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire the team, build strong relationships with clients, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to enhance performance, motivation, and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with sales goals.
- Analyze sales data to assess performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role within the office technology industry or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of the office technology market.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
