As a Sales Manager, you will develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, understanding their evolving needs, and driving sales growth within their assigned market segment(s). Leveraging internal technical resources, you will develop and present quotes that satisfy customer requirements and achieve margin targets. You will also conduct business development activities to expand revenue and margin within assigned markets and customers and acquire new customers.
- Develops and implements effective sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and profit targets for higher volume and/or key account customers.
- Identifies and pursues new sales opportunities within existing accounts, and actively pursues new customers.
- Prepares and presents RFQ response proposals, negotiates pricing, and closes deals to meet or exceed sales goals with limited sales leadership support.
- Visits customers and conducts manufacturing facility tours as needed.
- Escalates internal obstacles to management to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant account information in the company’s CRM.
- Provides regular reports on account performance, sales pipeline, and market trends to management.
- Analyzes sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develops strategies to drive growth.
- Performs other duties as assigned, which may include leading projects of varying scale or scope.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels.
- Proficient in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineered components.
- Willingness to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum five years of related professional selling experience.
