Our Birmingham/Hoover office isgrowing. This is an internal inside / outside Sales Manager Business Development position. We are looking for someone that is energetic with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and understands the entire sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Generate, develop and maintain new and existing client relationships
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales, gross margin, and profit targets
- Maintain relationships at the critical decision-maker level with high potential accounts
- Develop business contacts through active participation in business oriented or community program.
- Proven ability to follow up, handle objections, build rapport, manage expectations to gain new business or retain repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct 10 appointment visits per week.
- Conduct 65-75 inside sales phone calls a week and/or 65-75 outside sales calls a week.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, communication, etc. is preferred and can be substituted for similar experience such as client relations, client service, marketing, sales, communication, etc.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven inside and/oroutside sales with the ability to present to all levels of a company, preferred.
- Must exhibit zero fear of making inside sales phone calls and have the ability to walk into any setting to represent the brand. Must exhibit moderate to high energy to make several inside and outside calls.
- Must be an organized, planner who follows through on all details. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively respond to questions or complaints in a timely manner from managers, clients, employees and the general public in person or via email.
- Must be able to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Must be customer service driven with an outgoing personality.
- Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgement and discretion according to company policies and to ensure profitability. Ability to work well under pressure with strong organizational skills.
- Pay rate $38,000-$41,000 plus Commission.
