YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR SALES MANAGER
The role of Sales Manager is an exhilarating blend of strategic planning, team management, and relationship building. You reach out to your team of sales representatives, providing them with the support and guidance they need to drive sales and foster growth. Collaborating with them to build rapport and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers is a top priority. You work on developing sales plans that are motivating and annual budgets, ensuring that the goals and objectives are well-defined and achievable. With a keen eye on exceeding targets, you oversee operations across all territories, coach and develop the team to implement innovative sales strategies and optimize the use of our current sales platform to secure new transactions. Partnering with the Senior Vice President of Wholesale, you develop and execute pricing strategies and communicate with customers to provide tailored solutions. You're also focused on creating compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with our customers, delivering insightful reports, leading meetings, events, and training sessions, and consistently striving for excellence in every aspect of your role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year school (university or college) is preferred, not required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial, PCO, and industrial lubricant sales
- 3+ years of sales management experience
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to discuss and negotiate on a range of oral and written topics
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers
- Ability to calculate interest, discounts, mark-ups, commissions, and profit/loss
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach
- Ability to push, lift, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to travel within the region
