OSI Laserdiode, a division of OSI Optoelectronics has an opening for a Sales Manager. This individual will direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. They will also monitor the development of business plans, assess market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs. In addition, this individual will establish pricing strategies and develop marketing tools for successful product introductions. They will communicate customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). This individual will lead new product definition and business plans with joint departments. They will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
- Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
- Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions.
- Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

- It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other sciences, or equivalent business experience required.
- 10+ years' of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporate required.
- Travel up to 25% may be required.
