About the Job
Overall Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of existing business customers and generating new customer sales within designated sales channels that will meet designated performance goals to facilitate sales growth
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interface with customers to deliver business growth and meet channel sales budget expectations by product
- Maintain and grow existing customer base through effective sales management techniques; including prospecting, account qualifying, sales development and customer follow up to ensure sales goal achievement
- Work with WD sales representatives in the marketplace to grow jobber/dealer sales for all LEER Group products assigned to specific channels
- Research and analyze channel opportunities by channel and customer
- Create annual sales plans to set goals for channel penetration by new customers, revenue growth and new product sales
- Assist in the Development of e-retail marketing strategy
- Work with internal and external sales and product development resources to meet the needs of the customer
- Report on weekly and monthly sales results to ensure performance tracking
- Track competitive products within channel and assigned customers
- Stay abreast of new products in the marketplace
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
Characteristics and skills:
- Proven experience in automotive aftermarket, specifically WD aftermarket and E-commerce
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with winning and positive attitude
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Educational and other requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong communication skills both written & oral
- Travel required 50-75%
- Must be an initiative-taker capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team.
- At least two years of related experience required.
- A true "collaborative" leader that embraces the idea that he/she is the "go-to" person.
