MaxHome is hiring a Home ImprovementSales Manager to join our Houston, TX team. This role offers a highly competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses & commissions.
The Home Improvement Sales Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales forecast within policy guidelines, maintaining proper profit margins, coaching and training salespersons, assisting in interviewing of new Sales Consultants, and maintaining a well-trained staff.

What You'll Do:
25% Sales Focus
- Promote company mission and values and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with all departments
- Answer company-related work inquiries promptly
- Ensure open availability and accessibility to customers, sales team, and direct supervisors when necessary (including nights and weekends)
- Complete Daily “Thank You” calls to customers
- Maintain and promote the company policies, procedures, and selling system
- Complete presentations on company-generated leads and maintain personal sales volume and minimum performance standards
- Create a motivational sales environment to improve sales skills continually.
- Work with the Director of Sales on productive sales meetings with no less than two a month (preferably one a week, depending on lead volume)
- Handle unique customers including commercial clients, contractors, and multi-unit clients
50% Hiring/Training:
- Coach, train, and develop Outside Sales Consultants to exceed sales goals
- Assist in creating and maintaining a motivational sales environment to improve sales skills continually
- Train incoming Outside Sales onsultants in company policies, procedures, and selling system and answer questions for existing Outside Sales Consultants.
- Provide guidance, discipline, and consequences to anyone exhibiting poor habits, poor attitude, or unacceptable results
- Coordinate in-field observations with new or underperforming direct sellers to shadow Sales Manager I and reinforce proper selling techniques.
- Provide feedback to salespersons on issues with paperwork or pricing. Provide one on one coaching and goal-setting sessions with each Outside Sales Consultant
- Hold Outside Sales Consultants accountable for using the company selling system and achieving goals
- Work with Production on any training issues
25% Administrative:
- Review all sold files for proper pricing and adherence to guidelines and provide feedback to salespersons
- Enter, update, and maintain Lead Perfection CRM daily to maintain accurate customer records on all assigned sales files
- Pull and review reports from Lead Perfection
- Successfully and accurately complete all personal paperwork
- Maintain appraisals, evaluations, discussions, coaching conversations, earnings, commitments, etc.
- Fill in for Director of Sales when needed
- Work directly with Sales Center in effectively issuing leads

- Previous management of a team of 10+ Sales Reps

- Own a vehicle with a valid driver's license
- Proven experience in leadership
