We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our thriving team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a drive for results. This role is integral to our success and requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the flexible packaging industry. The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving our business growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the business’s product portfolio.
2. Managing, developing, coaching, controlling, and motivating the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
3. Ensuring targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward, and individual recognition.
4. Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and managing the sales program accordingly.
5. Providing on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
6. Meeting with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
7. Providing daily report of field sales success and communicating VOC data to superiors.
8. Selling to existing and potential direct accounts as well as providing sales support.
9. Traveling for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the flexible packaging industry.
3. A proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the flexible packaging industry.
4. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
5. A valid driver's license.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
8. A strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and industry standards.
9. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
10. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
11. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
12. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
