Summary
Our client is a well-known, highly successful Digital Marketing & Advertising company in the Inland Empire (Riverside, CA). They are in immediate need of hiring a Sales Manager to play a key role in the growth and expansion of their customer base and revenue. This role is responsible for supporting a team and growing business through sales through email, online, and outbound marketing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow customer base and new sales of digital marketing to SMBs.
- Build and lead an effective sales team, nurturing their potential and fostering a culture of continuousimprovement and collaboration.
- Meet annual and quarterly sales quotas, ensuring the team is well-equipped to exceed targets.
- Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain territory, team, and individual sales plans and goals.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from marketing conversion, initial customer engagement to closed sales.
- Prospect and qualify potential new customers using various direct and indirect methods.
- Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer.
- Develop key accounts and manage customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling various products and services they offer.
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of our customer's businesses to recognize opportunities and beperceived by the customer as a problem solver.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third party partners that help them deliver full solutions to customers.
- Create face-to-face presentations and proposals, assist the sales team with building their proposals.
- Co-present solutions with sales team members to existing and prospective clients.
- Act in a consultative role to the customer to ensure that we are adding value to their business.
- Participate in trade shows and other events to prospect for new business in-line with market strategy.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with ongoing developments.
- Monitor and track sales performance, progress, and metrics.
- Ensure all sales information is current in CRM and maintain dashboards.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports.
- Manage all selling expenses within the established travel & expense budgets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 4 years experience in B2B technology sales with a strong, proven record achieving revenue goals.
- Experience managing and motivating sales teams as well as sales support teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Sales and Marketing, or the equivalent in workexperience.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively withstakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer service orientation, solutions minded, with excellent follow up
- Proven to establish trust through high integrity, transparency and approachability.
- Experience structuring, negotiating and executing complex agreements
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing & advertising solutions available to SMBs today.
- Experience and understanding of CRM systems, preferably HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Proficiency with G-Suite.
