Sales Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Manager to be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships within the offshore services sector. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the marine logistics and offshore support industry.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the offshore oil and gas market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the Director of Sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Sales Manager Position Requirements
- 5-10 years similar work experience with 3-5 years of experience in long sales-cycle projects
- Previous maritime experience including Renewables or Oil & Gas
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships across a broad set of international energy companies
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market developments into commercial strategies.
- Very strong commercial and financial acumen with good negotiation skills and the ability to project or anticipate clients move and articulate a value proposition for a prospective customer
- Ability to interpret the company's current sales situation, recommending changes, improvements, and other measures
- Creative marketing capability
- Work efficiently with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
Pay Range from $100,000 - $150,000 per year
