As a Sales Assistant, you’ll contribute to the company’s growth by ensuring smooth operations, enhancing promotional efforts, and maintaining the flow of information and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales/Marketing:
- Social Media Management:
- Create and manage daily social media posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Web Page Updates:
- Regularly update the company’s website with relevant content.
- Ensure accurate product information and engaging visuals.
- Presentation Creation:
- Develop compelling presentations and capability statements using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Highlight the company’s strengths and offerings.
- Cold Emails and Calls:
- Reach out to potential customers via email and phone.
- Communicate effectively to generate leads and promote our products/services.
- Competitor Analysis:
- Review competitors’ websites to identify advantages and disadvantages.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine our value proposition.
- Administrative Tasks:
- CRM Management:
- Update and maintain the company’s CRM system with accurate customer and sales data.
- Ensure accessibility for the sales team.
- Federal Government Portals:
- Keep access credentials up-to-date for federal government portals.
- Facilitate seamless communication and transactions.
- Customer Portals:
- Review and update information in customer portals.
- Set up the company as a new vendor where necessary.
- Follow-Up:
- Schedule and conduct follow-up visits, calls, and meetings with clients.
- Address any issues promptly.
- Sales Reports and Information:
- Assist the sales team by providing relevant reports and information.
- Desirable Skills:
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (required).
- Spanish or a second language (desirable).
- Automation Knowledge:
- Familiarity with automation technologies (PLC, robotics, conveyors, vision systems).
- Programming Skills:
- Proficiency in languages such as VB, C++, HTML, or Java.
- AI Awareness:
