Account Executive/Field Sales Representative (Commission)
Strategic Service Solutions is a people-oriented Managed Service Provider company. We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our team! Maintain customer relations with existing customers and seize new business opportunities to grow our company.
Hours: Mon-Fri
Type: On-site, no possibility for remote work.
Requirements
· Must be able to commute to San Pedro, Long Beach, Orange County
· 1-2 years experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields. (Such as outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
· Record of sales achievements.
· Emphasis on professionalism and punctuality.
· Must have a valid California driver’s license.
· Must be able to qualify for a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card for security clearance (https://www.tsa.gov/disqualifying-offenses-factors)
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
· Deadline and detail-oriented
· Excel communication skills – written, verbal, and listening.
· Excel at using Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Responsibilities
· As a results-driven Sales Professional, you will actively procure new clients and boost company revenue through customer acquisition
· Develop, maintain, effective relationships with multiple internal and external customers
· Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
· Apply your skill-set as you build and sustain customer growth through territory management, daily prospecting, and running product demonstrations with business owners who fit our ideal customer profile
· Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the business value proposition
· Conduct high-level conversations with an array of executives in distinct buyer roles
· Conduct persistent outreach to targeted prospects
· Leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key decision makers
· Build & Accelerate pipeline growth
· Achieve year over year annual sales growth and gross margin targets
· Contribute towards optimizing the approach towards sales development to drive ongoing improvement
· Leverage lead and pipeline management, and sales forecasting
· Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from lead-generating databases
· Level expectations by communicating with mid-level management regarding staffing and service/product expertise
· Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
· Comply with Company Safety policies and procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Preferred Qualifications
· 2+ years experience in sales
· Record of sales achievements
· Experience working sales in an MSP
· Independent problem-solving/analytical skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Local to Bay Area / Los Angeles is preferable
