Who You Are:**Join Our Team as a Business Development Representative (Sales Pro)!**
Are you ready to be part of a collaborative team at DuraMax? As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in building and nurturing business relationships while driving sales of consumable items like filler metals, abrasives, welding accessories, and welding PPE. You’ll connect with end-user manufacturing facilities through in-person prospecting, emails, social media, and targeted marketing campaigns.
What You'll Do:Responsibilities:
- Live Our Core Values: Be dependable, responsive, and accountable in all your actions.
- Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with your manager to create a strategic sales plan with clear goals.
- Customer Engagement: Develop a consistent sales route with regular customer visits.
- CRM Utilization: Track calls, appointments, and opportunities using our CRM system daily.
- Sales Calls: Conduct regular visits to existing customers to maintain stock of consumables, cross-sell products, and explore new offerings.
- Relationship Building: Expand connections within existing accounts, engaging with welders, shop foremen, purchasing agents, and owner-operators.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings, monthly one-on-ones, quarterly blue-sky sessions, and end-of-year performance reviews to assess your progress and growth.
- Onboarding Participation: Engage in company onboarding, including product and systems training.
- Leverage Success: Upon demonstrating success, gain access to a company Sprinter Van with stocking capabilities to enhance our service.
- At least 5 years Sales experience required
- Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
- Knowledge in welding and fabrication industry is a plus
- Competitive Compensation: Base salary plus commission, with earnings potential of $50k and up (no cap on commissions).
