We are seeking a Sales and Procurement Representative to strengthen our existing relationships and help us grow our market presence.
Position Overview:
As a Sales and Procurement Representative, you will play a critical role in managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the procurement of fruit as necessary. You will need to stay informed about the evolving market landscape and take responsibility for ensuring the satisfaction of our clients. This position also involves sourcing other commodities, including apples, strawberries, and citrus. Occasional travel may be required to meet with customers, suppliers, or attend trade shows.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
· Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
· Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for customer requirements, including logistics coordination.
· Manage the end-to-end customer experience, from logistics to a basic understanding of accounting processes.
· Provide customers with updates on crop conditions, market fluctuations, and product availability.
· Support fruit procurement efforts with a focus on commodities such as apples, strawberries, and citrus.
· Issue and manage RFQs (Request for Quotes) as part of the procurement process.
· Participate in occasional travel for customer meetings, supplier visits, and trade shows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in agriculture or sales is strongly considered.
· Experience in or willingness to learn about commodity procurement across a range of products.
· Strong relationship management skills and a proven ability to meet customer needs.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in technology, with the ability to quickly learn sales tools, order management systems, and EDI platforms.
· Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes in both sales and procurement.
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering results.

Pay Range:
$70,000 - $100,000
