RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Engineering and Plant Managers to set staffing levels and labor rates and for accurate quoting.
- Assess and address customer requirements effectively.
- Collect raw material specifications (such as film, fabric, and corrugated) from customers and collaborate with Purchasing and plant staff to source these materials.
- Oversee the quoting process and maintain a comprehensive historical database of customers, products, and pricing.
- Coordinate with plant personnel to relay customer schedules, material needs, site visits, production runs, trials, and equipment availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact between external customers, sales teams, and management.
- Identify and prioritize customer requests and project needs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while fostering a strong work ethic.
- Manage the quotation process and oversee the transition of new business into manufacturing.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers.
- Facilitate customer integration into the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal staff to ensure that all customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations, delivering the highest standards of quality and service.
- Other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment required.
- Experience with customer relations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
