Job Description:
VVater seeks a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling VVater's range of products and services, with a focus on Artificial Beaches, Urban Lagoons, Real Estate, Aquatics, and Surf Park Solutions. This role involves managing sales leads, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
At VVater, starting salaries are expressed as base salaries for sales roles. Additional compensation from sales commissions and short-term incentives are also part of the compensation package for the Sales Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Actively identify potential clients through various channels such as LinkedIn, industry databases, and referrals.
- Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and qualification, ensuring a consistent pipeline of prospective clients.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and informative sales presentations tailored to the specific needs and interests of each potential client.
- Conduct virtual or in-person product demonstrations, showcasing the features and benefits of VVater's Artificial Beaches, Urban Lagoons, and Surf Park Solutions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of VVater's products, services, and technology advancements.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and how VVater's offerings provide solutions to emerging market needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Address customer concerns and queries promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Provide feedback from clients to assist in the development of targeted marketing materials.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Analyze competitor strategies and offerings to effectively position VVater in the market.
- Set and strive to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Regularly track and report on sales performance metrics to the sales manager, providing insights and forecasts.
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline using CRM software, ensuring all sales activities are logged and information is up to date. (HUBSPOT Preferred)
- Prioritize and manage leads to maximize conversion rates.
- Gather and report customer feedback to the product development and marketing teams.
- Suggest product improvements or new products based on market demands and customer insights.
- Represent VVater at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products.
- Engage in community and industry events to build brand awareness and establish VVater as a thought leader in the field.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales techniques and industry knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, such as technical support and R&D, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and product development.
- Lead negotiations and close agreements, ensuring terms are favorable and align with company policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the water treatment, real estate, or related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and demonstration abilities.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical product information.
- Highly proficient in CRM Software like Hubspot and Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
