Position Information: Responsible for the distribution objectives and sales goals in an assigned area of all products distributed by Amoskeag Beverages, LLC.
Primary Contribution to Amoskeag Beverages:
- Establish long-term relationships with customers
- Service accounts, professionally, securing primary display space
- Responsible for understanding and complying with all suppliers’ Quality Assurance guidelines and procedures, without exception
- Work with your Area Sales Manager to meet company goals
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service customers, consistently, in your assigned area, including non-buyers
- Be knowledgeable of our products and be persuasive in selling them
- Send, via internet, customer sales each day to dispatch for processing
- Work with merchandisers to keep product displayed properly for sale
- Stock all shelves before taking product inventory for accurate ordering purposes
- Attend all sales meetings to stay current on all company promotions
- Responsible for the quality assurance of all inventory of Amoskeag Beverages, LLC. (No Out of Code)
- Responsible for general market intelligence and competitor’s activity
- Report any customer complaints or lost business to Area Manager in a timely manner
- Submit all reports timely and accurately as required
- Collecting invoices, bad debts per Office and returning funds, promptly
- Understand and comply with all local, State and Federal regulations as they apply to the beer industry
- Perform all duties safely and responsibly
- Undertake special assignments at request of Area Manager or Director
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 1-3 years of previous sales experience required
- Experience in the Beverage Industry preferred
- Must have a clean driving record, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be personable, pleasant, knowledgeable, persuasive, organized, computer literate, responsible, and flexible
- Must be a team player, self-starter, with little supervision necessary
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. continually and 160 lbs. occasionally
Working Conditions:
- Most of time will be spent on the road visiting customers at their locations; whether it is a bar, restaurant, convenience store, or retail store.
- Drive in a safe manner, obeying all traffic laws
- Business casual attire
