REQUIREMENTS
As an Outside Roofing Sales Representative, you will:
- Serve customers by selling products and meeting their needs.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.
- Adjust content of sales presentations based on the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Experience in residential or commercial roofing sales is a plus.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Clean, neat, professional appearance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
