Role Summary:
The Sales Representative will be the face of the organization, and is responsible for building relationships with potential clients, assessing their project needs, and crafting detailed quotes to accurately determine timelines, materials, and costs that align with the client's goals. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a passion for customer service, guiding clients from the initial consultation through the completion of their project
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct holistic outbound sales activity (emails, cold calls, networking events, neighborhood canvassing, etc.), as well as inbound sales opportunity management (following up on leads / referrals, etc.)
Assess home remodeling and handyman projects to provide accurate quotes, including timelines, materials, and costs to ensure project accuracy
Follow up on client sites throughout the project, ensuring materials are at the site and confirming additional resources if needed
Manage client relationships through consistent communication, providing guidance and support from initial consultation to project completion to ensure client satisfaction.
Attend networking groups and engage in outside sales, including door-to-door efforts, to generate new leads and build client connections
Utilize CRM software (Keap) and scheduling tools (Connect Team) to organize tasks and client interactions effectively
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1+ years of sales experience and 1+ years of experience in construction or remodeling
Working knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project assessment
At least 1+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
At least 3+ years of experience in client communication management, with a passion for building trust and fostering long-term relationships
Proficiency with CRM and scheduling software (Keap and Connect Team preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong preference for construction sales / estimation experience
Some technical training, trade school, or field experience in construction and/or remodeling preferred
