About the Job
Basic Function:
Responsible for securing an assigned amount of profitable business for the company through proper planning, adequate territorial coverage, effective sales presentations, and thorough administration. Other required duties as specified by the Director/Sales Marketing.
Responsibilities: Included but not limited to:
Increase business by finding a match of products/services/solutions and a segment in the market among existing and potential customers. Develop relationships with key and supporting personnel within the businesses. Identify and participate in professional groups/associations that will benefit NCS and its relationships.
Distributor Relationships:
Cooperates with other company personnel. Advise supervisors of all changes in his or her territory, which can affect company success.
Accountable to the Director of Sales/Marketing for proper interpretation of duties and responsibilities.
Method of measurement:
The attainment of sales and profits versus assigned quota.
The satisfaction expressed by customers concerning salesperson’s assistance and
the satisfaction of management and other members of the company concerning the salesperson’s performance
Skills Required:
3-5 years Sales experience.
Experience using Excel and ERP systems.
Product Knowlege is a plus.
Problem Solving and Negotiating Skills.
Relationship Building with prospects and current customers.
Base Pay: 50k Commissions

- Secures orders, conducts surveys of assigned territory, studies customer population; locates new prospects and determines prospect’s needs; plans sales calls, makes presentations, points out the benefits of the products, and emphasizes the advantages of dealing with the company.
- Helps customers solve problems, provides technical assistance as needed and keeps customers up to date on new developments.
- Responsible for quotations, sales orders, and periodic delivery updates for their respective customers.
- Required to spend adequate time in their assigned territory to build business and prospects.
- Keeps informed on new products and opportunities; settles complaints, establishes, and maintains personal relations with customers; assists at shows, demonstrations, and meetings.
- Keeps informed on new products introduced by the company and the competition.
- Keeps the Company informed of changes which can affect his or her performance and other marketing functions.
- Maintains a system for keeping literature, brochures, price sheets, etc., neat, and up to date, in forms customers regarding catalog and price changes.
- Maintains records of calls, makes reports as required, works according to plan, follows up on all leads and inquiries, controls travel, telephone and entertainment expenses.
- Maintains required communications; advises superiors of all changes in his or her territory which can affect company success; cooperates with other company personnel.
- Maintains a high degree of sales professionalism through study and attendance at meetings and association activities where improvement programs are offered.
- Works closely with all departments to ensure that orders meet all conditions of the sale. Takes action to render prompt service in case of any deficiencies.
- Provide supplemental content (articles, tech bulletins, white papers, etc.) for Performance standards are based on sales metrics, which will be assigned by the Director of Sales/Marketing.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales/Marketing
