I. Job Summary
Supervises the activities of the Area's Inside Sales Team and provides a level of experience/expertise in the sale and retention of WM services to customers resulting in additional revenue. Identify, build, implement, and manage sales and marketing projects and programs to grow and retain our existing OMR customer base.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Maintains and reinforces the corporate sales, customer and pricing retention strategies and designs with the Open Market Residential Sales Team to grow and retain our OMR customer base and revenues.
+ Ability to identify Marketing business solutions that generate growth and customer loyalty. Assure that each program meets the desired return on investment
+ Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions. Communicates to and work with the Market Area Sales Manager to help resolve escalated or unique customer issues.
+ May participate in training and coaching the Open Market Residential Sales staff.
+ Marketing background with expertise in building and launching prospect campaigns (Direct Mail, social media, etc.) to drive strategic new business growth. Integrate full range of WM service offerings into OMR strategy.
+ Maintain and meet assigned revenue growth targets assigned to the OMR LOB. Forecast growth for our operational and maintenance partners.
+ Oversee efforts to reduce lost business due to customer late and non-payment of invoices.
+ Executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions to Open Market Residential Sales Representatives. Encourages feedback and is available to answer questions, provide direction and/or offer assistance when needed.
III. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Must live and work in the US.
A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree required, or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience required.
Experience: 2 years direct business-to-business sales (in addition to education requirements) required.
B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
+ Candidates must be able to: build relationships, communicate with impact, demonstrate professionalism, demonstrate leadership/coaching, make sound decisions, think strategically, produce results, know the business, influence and negotiate, manage work/time, and use ethical practices.
+ This position requires strong and effective communication skills partnered with the ability to comprehend and support revenue-driving marketing initiatives, RMC activities, customer and pricing retention efforts. This role will work in synergistic partnership with customer service, pricing, operations, billing and each of the assigned area leadership teams while providing backup support for their peers as needed.
+ This is a supervisory position. Placement into or advancement to this position is dependent upon individual performance, local market conditions and/or Area requirements. This position is eligible to participate in sales compensation and recognition programs upon successful completion of training prerequisites and Area management approval.
IV. Work Environment
Physical Requirements Category: Must be commutable to the Rochester, NY office.
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $66,400-90,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for quarterly commission.
