What You'll Do:
As a Sales Support Administrator, you will be an integral part of our Sales team, providing essential administrative support to our Catering Sales Manager, Wedding Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Sales Managers. Your role will be key in ensuring smooth operations, from supporting client inquiries to helping coordinate high-quality events. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Client Engagement: Handle small catering inquiries (both in-person and over the phone) with a friendly and professional approach, helping new and repeat clients feel welcome.
- Guest Services: Play an active role in delivering top-notch guest experiences by managing requests and organizing guest amenities.
- Marketing & Inventory: Assist with maintaining marketing materials and conduct monthly inventories to ensure we have everything needed to impress our clients.
- Event Coordination: Manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), signage, and event-related documentation to ensure every detail is on point.
- Client Appreciation: Prepare and send thank-you notes, congratulations messages, and other communications to clients, creating a memorable post-event experience.
- Competitive Insights: Conduct a bi-annual competitive analysis by gathering valuable data from local competitors, helping us stay ahead of the curve.
- Site Visits: Assist with conducting site visits, showcasing the property, and supporting the Sales Team as needed.
- Software Savvy: Work with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and embrace new software tools like Caterease and Lodgical to streamline operations.
- Team Player: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other team members on various projects and tasks as needed, always keeping the guest experience top of mind.
What You Bring:
- Hospitality Experience: At least 2-3 years in a Front Desk or Restaurant role within the hospitality industry. If you love working in fast-paced, guest-facing environments, this is for you!
- Strong Communication Skills: You'll interact with clients and internal teams regularly-clear, friendly, and professional communication is key.
- Organizational Skills: You can juggle multiple tasks, stay organized, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and open to learning new systems like Caterease and Lodgical.
- Proactive Attitude: You take initiative, anticipate needs, and always go the extra mile to ensure things run smoothly.
