A leading manufacturer of gaskets, industrial seals, and compression-molded plastics is looking for a Sales Support Administrator responsible for delivering unparalleled customer service, handling order processes, overseeing planning, scheduling, and managing returns promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate is well-versed in customer service best practices and familiar with office processes in the manufacturing industry.
Salary: $16-20/hr

Responsibilities:
- Confer with customers by telephone, email, or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, and obtain details of customer issues.
- Issue RGA’s and credits after customer issues are solved or are in the rework process.
- Upon receiving the return of goods, create a request for credit for accounting.
- Send tracking details of product to customers.
- Ensure that pricing and scheduling ship dates are updated and check in with shop supervisor as needed for ship date details.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department for needed costing information and create a vendor requisition when client PO is received.
- Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
- Turn all orders into quotes, print, stamp, and then deliver to the prospective shops, as needed.
- Direct and track the delivery of products and materials.
- Check stock levels with the inventory team and reorder materials as necessary.
- Contract review against the client’s original PO.
- Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers per QMS.
- Pull paperwork from shops to revise orders regarding any customer changes due to a change in date, shipping revisions, price revisions, etc.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- 5 years of customer service and office experience preferred
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
