Humana is seeking an experienced Sales Support Professional 1 to support the South Region Group Benefits Sales team working remote anywhere in the US. As the Sales Support Professional, you will provide timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. Your work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
Key Role Functions
+ Draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements
+ Make standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics
+ Perform background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales teams activities
+ Answer internal and customer inquires
+ Communicate with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints
+ Maintain up-to-date customer records

Required Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience working in fast paced sales environment, supporting sales team, reporting and proposal development
+ 1+ years of experience in reports, contracts, statistics, accounts or related field
+ Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Applications
+ Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
+ A self-starter with good problem-solving skills and organizational skills
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Understanding of basic Project Management skills
+ Prior experience working within the healthcare field
+ Health Insurance industry experience

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$52,500 - $72,300 per year
