Job Description Summary The Sales Systems Administrator supports Sales Managers, Field Marketing Manager, Director of Group Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing and completes administrative tasks related to meetings, events, conventions, and day to day operation of the departments. Support sellers to enable them to maximize their selling time. Manage property requests to the sales department and vice versa. Job Description Key Job Functions Correspond with clients as directed by Sales Manager, Director of Group Sales, Field Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing. Create and distributes VIP Amenity Forms and arrange site visit details and send appointments. Field inquiry calls from prospective customers. Update manager calendars as appropriate. Create contracts, proposals, addendums, thank you letters and other customer correspondence for Sellers. Phone coverage and assist clients as needed. Fill out group history requests. Assist managers with turnovers. Meeting and travel calendar management. E-mail coverage for Group Sellers as needed. Compile sales kits and client gifts. Coordinate group client reservation requests. Update lists and communicate new hires and changes to CVB, GSO Offices etc. Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations. Qualifications and Skills A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency. Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience. Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associates. Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel experience preferred but not required.Physical Demands
