The US Coronary business offers interventional cardiologists a wide variety of product and education solutions that are designed to improve outcomes for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Our new partnership with CathWorks now enables us to offer solutions from diagnosis through treatment
The patients that are treated by interventional cardiologists are presenting with increasingly complex disease which requires our training team to prepare sales representatives to support a wide variety of cases
Renal Denervation is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower blood pressure
The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure
High blood pressure is a global epidemic, affecting one-third to one-half of adults! This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for introducing this new therapy to HCPs and patients in the United States

Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.A Day in the Life You will partner with the sales training team to develop and execute annual and quarterly sales training strategies for the US Coronary and Renal Denervation business unit. In addition to supporting a diverse product portfolio which includes our market-leading Onyx Frontier drug-eluting stent, Symplicity Spyral renal denervation procedure and FFRangio by CathWorks , you will play a key role in developing online content and delivering live training for our salesforce
Some of the activities include but are not limited to: Partner with sales training and marketing teams to execute live Springboard new hire training (2 weeks, 2-3 per year) Partner with global sales training and marketing to develop and update online training modules Lead the development and execution for the online sales training to support the launch of our drug coated balloon launch in the US Develop and implement training content to train sales representatives and management on relevant Medtronic and competitive coronary, renal denervation and FFRangio products and clinical data through various delivery formats (e-learning, live classroom, product launches, etc.) Spend time virtually and in the field with sales representatives, sales trainers and sales advisors collecting feedback and analyzing training opportunities on a continuous basis Act as subject matter expert during interactions with sales representatives, physicians and adminsitrators through support of conferences, customer meetings, field rides and live sales meetings Stay up-to-date on the latest scientific and technology developments by attending relevant scientific and technical meetings and conferences Must Have: Minimum Requirements You will need a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in training, sales, sales support or marketing role where training was an element of the role Project management experience Experience leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams 25% travel required Nice to Have: Medical device marketing or training content development strongly preferred Medical device sales training experience preferred Content creation experience preferred Medical device sales or in-lab experience is preferred Vendor management experience Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
