FIG has an Annuity Consultant position available. This is a full-time position.
Job Summary
The Annuity Consultant is responsible for driving fixed annuity sales, developing, and deepening relationships with financial professionals affiliated with their Private Client Group (includes a Senior Vice President, the Annuity Consultant, a Life Insurance Consultant and a Sales Associate). This individual should be an expert in fixed and fixed indexed annuities including product details, the competitive landscape and positioning fixed insurance products in client portfolios. The Annuity Consultant will be the primary contact for annuity producers and the role includes all elements of the sales process from product promotion and marketing to contracting, order entry and problem resolution. The Annuity Consultant will also collaborate with their Senior Vice President to recruit and retain financial professionals. Select registrations, license, and/or accreditation are required and must be maintained. Supervisory responsibilities associated with the position will be dependent on the needs of overall PCG. Some travel may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Daily phone, email, and text communication with financial professionals to generate sales, recruit new advisors and service existing clients.
- Work with existing financial professionals to enhance the productivity of their business. Implement new marketing and business development ideas to generate additional revenue for their company and FIG.
- Manage heavy inflow of product analysis and planning, and all other service requests from financial professionals.
- Self-starter that is willing and able to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
- Adhere to firm-wide CRM and administrative standards.
- Support Senior Vice President in a variety of other duties and responsibilities as required for ongoing success of the team and the company.
- Continuously self-educate in applicable financial disciplines to grow self and financial professionals alike.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business related acumen
- 5+ years of experience sales experience within the life insurance industry
- NC Life & Health Insurance License
