We are currently seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join a dynamic client in the Seattle area. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits, including a 401(k) plan, PTO, and the opportunity to work closely with various departments to support and enhance their sales operations.
As the Salesforce Administrator, you will serve as a critical bridge between sales, marketing, and other departments, driving the adoption and optimization of Salesforce and other sales tools. You will gather, analyze, and communicate actionable insights from both internal and external sales data to guide strategic decision-making, improve team performance, and support marketing efforts. In addition, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data within Salesforce, training users, and continuously improving its functionality to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the sales and marketing teams.
- Serve as a key member of the CRM team, participating in the selection, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce.
- Champion the use of Salesforce by providing training, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring best practices.
- Develop reports and provide in-depth analysis using internal sales data from ERP and CRM systems.
- Act as an internal technical and analytic consultant for Salesforce optimization within the Sales and Marketing teams.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to qualify leads and enhance customer acquisition strategies.
- Facilitate and optimize the use of Salesforce and other sales tools through direct support and training of staff.
- Work with IT to improve data accessibility, consolidation, and the housing of data when necessary.
- Analyze market research and provide recommendations for sales and marketing initiatives.
- Support business development by providing relevant data and insights to drive new initiatives.
- Prepare both scheduled and ad hoc sales reports to assist in the automation of reporting processes.
- Leverage predictive analytics and customer trends to support the development of new product opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Sales Operations, or Business Analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce or other CRM/Business Intelligence applications.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales, pricing, promotional, and POS data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience building and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Working knowledge of marketing, sales, and operations processes.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other business analytic tools.
- Experience with Salesforce data migration, integration, and customization is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The majority of the time will be spent working in a standard office environment.
- Ability to navigate between departments and occasionally visit production or shop environments.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and using standard office equipment.
Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 25%, as required.
