About the Job
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and updating applications that support and enhance business operations. This role involves collaborating on custom features, deploying new tools and software, monitoring and analyzing efficiency issues, and devising solutions for moderately complex problems. The Solutions Developer troubleshoots technical issues, maintains databases, and provides individualized solutions to users. Additionally, they ensure that solutions are operational 24x7 to meet operational service level agreements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Developer: $75,000 - $126,000 plus bonus.
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Salesforce Developer Responsibilities Include:
• Designing, coding, and developing applications according to specifications defined by business and analysts.
• Writing technical and end-user documentation and providing ongoing support instructions.
• Managing code changes using version control.
• Communicating work item statuses to project managers and stakeholders.
• Incorporating best practices such as SOA, enterprise service bus, security, and performance.
• Reviewing and extending the design of web application security throughout the solution.
• Recommending and facilitating quality improvement efforts.
• Working with business analysts to provide workload estimates for development projects.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Salesforce Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of solution design or programming experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Working with integrated applications such as DocuSign, Deltek, HCM, SharePoint, Service Now etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripted languages.
• Working knowledge of source control and branching strategies.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
