- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers and QA: hiring staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment and effective communication within the team.
- Collaborate with other teams, including product management, professional services, and sales, to provide strategic input on roadmap priorities.
- Help scope initiatives and ensure delivery of innovative, high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor team performance and progress towards sprint goals, identifying opportunities for optimization and process improvement.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to support the development and optimization of Salesforce applications, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the engineering team, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Monitor and assess team performance, productivity, and efficiency, implementing strategies to optimize resource allocation and maximize team effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and dependencies effectively and facilitating alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and features, ensuring the team remains proficient in Salesforce development methodologies and best practices.
- Define and track key performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize resource utilization, ensure quality deliverables, and foster continuous improvement within the development team.
- Bachelor"s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Five (5) + years" experience leading a software engineering team, preferably with a focus on Salesforce development, customization, and integration.
- Proven experience in team leadership and management, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing engineering teams
- Good understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative development tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong project planning and execution skills to oversee successful completion of our projects, and release of our product.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) preferred.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus, with a passion for driving innovation and a growth mind-set towards process improvement and collaboration.
- Implement strategies for continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, including automated testing, code reviews, and quality metrics tracking.

The pay range for this role is:
150,000 - 175,000 USD per year(Remote - Minneapolis, US)
140,000 - 165,000 CAD per year(Remote - Toronto, CA)
